PostPack

Privacy Policy

Effective 11 October 2026 · Updated 11 October 2026 · PostPack by Frost Peak, Lahore, Pakistan

PostPack is a photo and video editor that turns one piece of content into the sizes each social platform needs. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. We wrote it to match what the app actually does.

The short version

1. Your content

When you pick a photo or video from your gallery, or record one with the camera, PostPack reads it on your device to edit and export it. Drafts and exported files are stored in the app's own storage on your device, or in a folder you choose. They are not sent to us.

Your content leaves your device only when you share it yourself. When you tap Share, your phone's share sheet opens and you choose the app to send it to, such as WhatsApp or Instagram. What happens after that is covered by that app's own privacy policy.

The camera is used only when you choose to record or take a photo inside PostPack.

2. Account information

You can use PostPack as a guest. In that case Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous user ID for your install and nothing else.

If you sign in with email, Google or Apple, Firebase Authentication (operated by Google) processes:

We use this only to run your account and to keep your Pro subscription linked to you on every device where you sign in.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Payments are made through Google Play (or the Apple App Store on iPhone). We never see or store your card details.

We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat processes your app user ID and purchase details such as the product, purchase date, renewal and expiry status. This is used only to unlock Pro features and to restore purchases.

4. Crash reports

If the app crashes or hits a serious error, Firebase Crashlytics sends a crash report. It contains technical details: the error and stack trace, device model, operating system version, app version, and a random installation identifier. It does not contain your photos, videos or text. We use it only to find and fix bugs.

5. What we do not do

6. Service providers

We rely on these companies to run the app. Each processes data only to provide its service to us:

Data handled by these providers may be processed on servers outside your country. All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

7. How long we keep data

Account data is kept while your account exists and is removed when you delete it. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. Purchase records (product, dates, renewal status) held by Google Play and RevenueCat may be kept for up to 7 years where tax or accounting law requires it. Content on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app.

8. Deleting your account and data

In the app, open Home → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your sign-in account. You can also ask us to delete it by email; see how to delete your account.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to how it is used. Email us and we will reply within 30 days.

10. Children

PostPack is intended for adults (18 and over) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the app.
